Panic! at the Disco is a pop rock/electronica band dependent out of Las Vegas, Nevada. The band is produced from Brendon Urie (vocals, guitar, keyboard) and his early life good friend, Spencer Smiths (drums), such as their schoolmate, Ryan Ross (guitar, keyboard, backing vocals).
To advertise their tune, the band made contact with Pete Wentz (of Fall Out Boy) thru his LiveJournal web site. Impressed through the band, Wentz in my opinion met with the band and signed them to his imprint label Decaydance. Under the label, the band launched their debut album, A Fever You Cant Sweat Out, which would debut at #112 at the Billboard 2 hundred album charts.
Featured in Spin mag as their band of the day in early October 2005, achieving #1 on the MySpace chart, and continuously staying in PureVolumes Top 10 chart, might simply assist develop the bands acceptance. An look on MTVs TRL on January 17, 2006, at the highest quality in their tune video for I Write Sins Not Tragedies, also helped garner the band lots exposure.
